She recently featured in the Washington Post due to her commitment to teaching fitness classes four times per week to her fellow residents. At 102 years old , Jean is keen to help residents stretch and maintain their movements. She herself uses a walker to help her mobilise and has no plans to give up her routine any time soon. " When I get old, I will quit" she is quoted as saying. Jean demonstrates that you are never too old for activity.

I can confidently say that everyone has given this activity a go. And while it is not exactly as sport, it is a great way to move your body and get your heart beating faster. Professional dancers can certainly be considered athletes, given their strength, stamina and control with movement.
